Tom joined M3 as Chief Operating Officer in 2026, bringing over 25 years’ experience in finance, governance, technology, sustainability and operational leadership. A Chartered Accountant by background, he has worked across listed real estate, corporate finance and consultancy environments, with a focus on turning strategic ambition into clear, reliable delivery.

Prior to joining M3, Tom held senior leadership roles at Shaftesbury Capital, including Finance Director for Covent Garden and Director of Sustainability and Technology. He managed the financial and operational engine room of a £2.5bn estate, led post-merger systems integration, established governance frameworks, and delivered digital, ESG and process improvement programmes with an accountant’s eye for detail and an operator’s instinct for getting things done.

Tom’s priorities are financial performance and people: strengthening the operating platform, sharpening commercial discipline and helping build the high-performing teams that will support M3’s next stage of growth. He brings structure, calm problem-solving and a belief that good operations should make life simpler, not more complicated — even when a finance person has been invited into the room.

Tom is also a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit Committee at Crookes Brothers Limited, a Johannesburg-listed agriculture business. Outside work, he enjoys mountains, reading and ambitious kitchen experiments, not all of which achieve board approval.
