The refurbishment of 135 Bishopsgate creates a welcoming eastern entrance to Broadgate while enhancing the estate's retail and commercial offer.

M3 led a team through feasibility options to establish value enhancing potential for the building and estate within the constraints of the existing building envelope and adjacency to Liverpool Street station. The solution transforms the constraints into opportunities.  Providing an additional 38,000 sq ft on the ground and first levels, the scheme opens up the Bishopsgate arcade by redesigning the approach and access, while improving connectivity through to the Great Eastern Walkway.

The refurbishment maintains the massing and iconic 1980s Bishopsgate elevations, introducing high level green spaces and terraces along with a comprehensive upgrade of the office space, reception area and building services.
