M3 has overseen the ongoing transformation of this mixed use scheme since the client’s acquisition of the partly implemented regeneration site in 2014. Paddington Central is centrally located, but detached from its surroundings.  The masterplan study established the framework to alleviate this.

M3 was commissioned to lead a review of the large scale, multiphase project for opportunities to improve on value, public realm and vehicular and pedestrian interfaces, as well as potential for future expansion. The amended masterplan identified a number immediate and longer term interventions. These have included extensive public realm enhancements addressing branding, connectivity and wayfinding, opportunities to diversify and optimise use, vibrancy and footfall, and recommendations for alterations to the two undeveloped but consented plots to enhance values.
