5 Broadgate was the new, world-class UK headquarters for UBS. Accommodating up to 6,000 staff including 3,000 traders on its four trading floors, the 1.1m sq ft building was the largest single pre-let in the City of London.

As development manager for the JV client, M3 Consulting played an instrumental role both in leading the client team through a number of physical, planning, property and contractual complexities, and managed the interface with multiple stakeholders and their teams. Involved from early discussion stages, M3 consolidated the brief to incorporate tenant specifications, selected the team and oversaw the design, planning, delivery and handover to ensure compliance with wide-ranging sets of priorities.

Achieved BREEAM Excellent rating and a 4% reduction of construction carbon footprint, exceeding energy requirements of Part L2A 2006 by 49%, and aspired to zero waste to landfill.
