The refurbishment of 135 Bishopsgate created a welcoming eastern entrance to Broadgate while enhancing the estate's retail and commercial offer.
M3 led a team through feasibility options to establish value enhancing potential for the building and estate within the constraints of the existing building envelope and adjacency to Liverpool Street station. Providing an additional 38,000 sq ft on the ground and first levels, the scheme opened up the Bishopsgate arcade by redesigning the approach and access, while improving connectivity through to the Great Eastern Walkway.
The refurbishment introduced high level green spaces and terraces along with a comprehensive upgrade of the office space, reception area and building services.
