The Fruitful Garden

The Fruitful Garden

Alec | 14 September 2016

Maylim, Willerby Landscapes and M3 Consulting are working with local disability charity Pursuing Independent Paths (PIP) to create The Fruitful Garden.

By planting, maintaining and cultivating a small fruit and veg garden, local adults with learning disabilities at PIP learn new skills and understand where great food comes from. Developing these skills helps people to overcome their learning disabilities and fulfil their potential.

And that’s just the beginning…

PIP’s new Fruitful juice stall will use the fruit, vegetables and herbs grown in the Fruitful Garden to produce tasty juices that PIP students will sell at street food markets, company receptions and community events. Creating even more opportunities to develop skills whilst raising awareness and a little money for PIP’s work too.
