£200m fund to to replace unsafe cladding for private residential highrises

The Government aims to speed to up the replacement of unsafe aluminum composite material (ACM) cladding for c. 170 privately owned residential towers where the owners have failed to take action.  The Government has already provided funding to do the same in the public sector.


Owners will have three months to access the funding, and will be required to "take reasonable steps to recover the costs from those responsible for the presence of unsafe cladding."   Read more here >
