M3 Consulting announces three senior promotions


London-based development and project manager M3 Consulting has announced three senior positions within the firm, fortifying the leadership team and highlighting the success within the business. The promotions of Jennifer Wilkinson, William Connolly and Alex Groot reflects M3 Consulting’s strong growth ambitions and pipeline of opportunities for future projects.

Jennifer Wilkinson has been promoted to Senior Development Manager after more than four years in the business. Jennifer has a wide range of experience dealing with mixed-use, office and residential sectors as well as high-end residential and hotel schemes in London and South Africa. Since being with M3 Consulting, she has overseen the practical completion of the listed 106 Jermyn Street, and the extensive refurbishment of 20 Finsbury Circus, a 1900s building with an original retained facade. She is currently leading concurrent planning applications on behalf of The Wellcome Trust in South Kensington.

William Connolly, who has been at M3 for eight years, has been promoted to Associate Director. Will has experience across public and private sectors, at all stages of the development lifecycle. Past projects comprise of British Land’s 1 Triton Square, the biggest pre-let in the West End in over 20 years, and Mount Pleasant, involving the planning consent for and disposal of circa 1 million sq ft. of residential-led mixed use development while enabling efficient consolidation of Royal Mail’s operations. Will has been instrumental through the town planning, remediation and infrastructure works at the 2.5m sq ft. Nine Elms Park development and continues to drive the development and disposal strategy with development partners across the eight-plot masterplan.

Alex Groot has been promoted to Project Director, after a decade at M3. With an engineering background, commercial sensibilities and contagious enthusiasm, Alex has amassed a track record that has optimised development potential at challenging sites. These have included the 50-storey The Leadenhall Building, the value enhancement of One Carter Lane across from St Paul’s, and the 1 million sq ft. 5 Broadgate. Recently, Alex has undertaken a number of feasibility studies that explore best development options for a range of clients and has led the team in the design development and resubmission of the 5 Kingdom Street planning application to the GLA.
