North East Quadrant was the second phase of the Regent’s Place masterplan, that created two new office blocks and private and affordable housing totalling 700,000 sq ft. With the aim to deliver a significant quantum of mixed used floor space and to enliven this unwelcoming part of Regent’s Place with active ground level uses and entrances at each elevation, M3 selected and led the project team from viability reviews through design, town planning and construction. Anticipating the need to accommodate the servicing of this future development during and after construction, M3 undertook extensive reorganisation of an operational basement in advance. The development incorporated significant community uses including New Diorama Community Arts Centre, new West Euston Partnership facilities and renewed Regent’s Place Plaza.
